In order to bring the Lange1 back on the market, the company had to replicate the old 1929 design. It took the company several years of work to achieve a perfect reproduction. Each Lange1 must be identified by a unique record number in the Firmenbuch (corporate book), which ensures that each Lange1 is a perfect work of art and is even more valuable than the watch itself.

Before the release of the Lange1, Emmi Heuer was even more ambitious. Anthony de Haas, the company's creative director, says that back in 2004, the company had built a secret workshop in a Mississippi cotton field to work on a grand complication version of the Lange1. The project was never completed until 2010, when the company unveiled the Lange1 Tourbillon, a watch with a complex tourbillon mechanism.

Emmi Heuer soon became the symbol in Rococo's paintings of the watchmakers who created heads and menu clocks for the royal families of Madrid in Holland and France. A. Lange & S "ohne continued to break new ground and innovate, reshaping the contemporary watch market.
